(1) Vendor needs to provide planning support services to the government authority located in Colorado. – Provide consultant services to primarily support state and federally required Work Program elements, and enhance its capacity and ability to respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.– Perform transportation planning, research and analysis to support planning and programming, including the development, maintenance and implementation of the 10–Year Plan.– Public–Friendly Communication Materials and Spanish Translation:- Visual and Digital Content: Branding of concepts, graphics, maps, videos, social media content, infographics, and other visual displays of data analysis (such as dashboards, employing data visualization tools).- Written Content: Newsletters, one–page information sheets, PowerPoint presentations, short articles, summaries of findings and observations, and Q&A documents.- Spanish Translation: To support outreach and engagement with Spanish–speaking communities, public involvement communication materials may require translation into Spanish.- Ability to produce deliverables quickly and on short notice.– Promote land use and transportation planning coordination in statewide and regional planning processes.– Support the incorporation of multimodal transportation options to create a complete and connected transportation network.– Corridor Planning GIS Support: Utilize GIS and visual story mapping for corridor planning to integrate various disciplines into a cohesive “complete corridors“ framework.– Active Transportation Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to advance active transportation planning. This includes leveraging Location–Based Services (LBS) data on active transportation trips, managing bicycle and pedestrian count equipment and software, and analyzing pavement marking and roadway data collected via Automatic Road Analyzer (ARAN) vehicles to assess facility locations and visibility quality.– Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP) Implementation Support: Assist with tasks to implement the TAMP and ensure its integration with statewide planning initiatives, such as corridor planning.– Freight Planning Support: Offer support for freight planning studies and projects, including emergency truck parking and initiatives driven by the Freight Advisory Council (FAC).(2) The contract period will be for five years.
