(1) Vendor needs to provide systemwide signage and wayfinding master plan service. – To develop a consistent, accessible, scalable, and future–ready approach to signage, wayfinding, and customer information that improves the customer journey while accounting for local station conditions, station ownership, implementation constraints, accessibility requirements, multilingual needs, and phased deployment.• Develop a systemwide Signage and Wayfinding Master Plan.• Improve the ease, safety, accessibility, consistency, and confidence of the station navigation experience. • Support current riders, new riders, visitors, tourists, connecting transit users, riders with disabilities, older adults, limited–English–proficiency communities, and other station users. • Improve navigation from sidewalks, bikeways, trails, parking areas, pickup/drop–off zones, bus connections, rideshare areas, and surrounding communities to station platforms and nearby destinations. • Support clearer and more intuitive transfers between Metrolink, bus, rail, shuttle, active transportation, rideshare, and other connecting services of our partner transportation providers. • Develop a practical toolkit that can be applied across the system while allowing flexibility for station–specific conditions and station–owner requirements, including consideration of station–owner budget and planning cycles. • Test and refine the toolkit through pilot demonstrations at five stations. • Explore future–facing customer information tools, including interactive kiosks, real–time service information, multilingual and accessible digital interfaces, safety/security functionality, customer assistance, advertising, sponsorship, and other innovative station–based communication tools. • Project Management and Administration• Project Kickoff and Refined Work Plan• Existing Conditions, Station Access, and Customer Journey Assessment• Public Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement• Standards, Best Practices, and Future Customer Information Strategy• Systemwide Signage and Wayfinding Toolkit(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on November 3, 2026.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than November 13, 2026.
