The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the Shockoe Sanitary Pumping Station Improvements project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to site work, concrete, piping, mechanical, electrical, and other specialties. The project consists of the following along with all appurtenant work for complete installation at the City of Richmond Shockoe Sanitary Pumping Station Improvements: Demolition and removal of the existing wastewater pumping units, piping, valves, sump pumps, seal water system, conduit and wiring, controls, motor control center, transformer, power metering, automatic transfer switch, concrete, at the Shockoe Sanitary Pumping Station. Furnishing and installing new non-clog sewage pumps piping, valves, sump pumps, conduit and wiring, controls, motor control center, 750 kva transformers, power metering, automatic transfer switch, concrete, water pipe relocation, pipe insulation, pump and pipe supports, Adjustable Frequency Drive units, wiring, conduit, PLC controls, lighting transformer, all as described and shown in the project book.
