It intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contracts for the acquisition of Agro-Processing Production/Value-Addition Equipment. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Supply and Installation of Agro Processing Production/Value Addition Equipment for Procurement of Supply and Installation of Agro Processing Production/Value Addition Equipment for Makerere University Food Technology Business Incubation Centre (MAK-FTBIC). Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using the Request for Bids (RFB) procurement method as specified in the World Bank Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers September, 2025, (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all eligible bidders. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD), and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 0900 hours to 1700 hours at the address given below. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only (100,000/=) . The method of payment will be through the Bank to Uganda Revenue Authority. The document will be sent by email. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 9th September, 2026 at 1100 hours East African Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
