The City of Charlottesville is requesting quotes for RFQ 27-54 for GILLIG TRANSIT BUS ENGINE PURCHASE & REPLACEMENT . The City seeks a qualified Contractor to provide a replacement Cummins ISL Long Block Engine, Emission Level CM2150, Engine Serial # 73041720 , and complete removal and replacement services for a Charlottesville Area Transit bus. The work includes removal of the existing engine, installation of the replacement engine, transfer of applicable components and accessories, required adjustments and programming, replacement of necessary fluids, and testing to verify proper engine and vehicle operation.
