(1) Vendor needs to provide government relations and lobbying services.– Provide professional government relations and lobbying services before the Colorado Legislature, executive branch agencies, and other governmental bodies as directed.• Provide ongoing strategic advice regarding the political landscape, key decision–makers, Executive Branch interactions with the Legislature, and emerging issues relevant to the City. • Assist in developing the City's annual legislative agenda and policy priorities. • Advise on messaging and positioning for City initiatives, including the pursuit of grant funding requiring legislative or executive branch support. • Facilitate meetings between City leadership and legislators, legislative staff, and executive branch officials. This may include meetings at either the state or the federal level. • Identify and help cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholder groups, associations, and coalition partners. • Promptly notify the city of any developments requiring immediate attention or decision.
