Force Main Assessment

West County Wastewater (WCW) is soliciting written proposals from qualified firms or individuals to submit proposals to conduct a thorough assessment of WCW’s 6 miles of pressurized force mains which are part of the larger WCW system. During the past several months, WCW has experienced force main failures that have required major emergency responses. These failures have identified gaps in our program we are hoping to eliminate by assessment, and then repairs, of potential failure points. Data gathered from the assessment will allow WCW to create a Corrective Action Plan. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), and not an invitation to bid. Although pricing is very important, other factors will be taken into consideration in selecting a proposal.
