(1) Vendor needs to provide health insurance information, counseling and assistance program services to low–income, dual–eligible, and hard–to–reach beneficiaries and will equip its counselors to provide in– depth, complex counseling and enrollment assistance on medicare, medicare prescription drug coverage, medicare advantage plans, enrollment and coordination with medicare prescription drug coverage, medicare savings plan (MSP) and low–income subsidy to the government authority located in Albany, NY.• Medicare prescription drug benefit and how to select the best plan• Screening and application assistance for “Extra Help”• EPIC (Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage)• Medicare Supplement insurance coverage, comparison information and claim filing• Inform on ways to pay for prescription drugs and/or medical equipment• Inform on how to choose the best Medicare or Medicare Advantage plans• Inform on Medicare rules and medical bills• Inform on Medicare fraud and abuse• Inform on appeal processes for Medicare, health care provider, and other health insurance• Inform on Medicare gaps and how to fill them• Inform on Long Term Care Insurance• Conduct outreach on Medicare preventive services and screening visits• Consumer rights(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 3, 2026.(3) Contract period will be for one year.
