Network Hardware Replacement and Installation

West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) is soliciting proposals for the Network Hardware Replacement and Installation Project to upgrade end-of-life network infrastructure at its Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility and four additional satellite sites. This project is critical to supporting the District’s core operational systems, including access control, surveillance, and wireless connectivity. The existing network hardware facilitates communication for essential security components such as door readers, gate badge readers, surveillance cameras, and access control panels. As this equipment approaches the end of its lifecycle, replacement is necessary to ensure continued reliability, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance overall network performance. The scope of work includes the removal of outdated equipment, installation of new hardware, and configuration of systems in line with industry standards and best practices. The District also intends to retain and integrate all existing access control panels within the upgraded network environment. West Basin seeks qualified vendors with demonstrated expertise in network hardware deployment and the successful execution of multi-site infrastructure projects.
