Vendor needs to provide public communications services. – The selected consultant will execute the agency's 2026 Public Communications Plan, enhancing municipal transparency, managing community engagement, delivering bilingual communications (English/Spanish), and producing consistent narrative content across digital, print, and public channels under the direction of the agency Manager.– Communications Consultant: The consultant holds primary responsibility for strategy execution, drafting narrative text, designing graphic assets, layout editing, photography curation, and managing publication schedules.1. Spanish Language Translation Services– The consultant will produce a revamped, town–wide monthly digital e–newsletter distributed via email subscription, archived on the Town website, and promoted across social media.– Maintain an active, engaging digital presence across Facebook, Instagram, and the Let's Talk Basalt portal (publishing multiple times per week).– Create visually appealing infographics, digital banners, flyers, posters, and print advertisements aligned with the agency brand guidelines. Capture or curate high–quality imagery of town projects, parks, staff, and events.– Media Relations: Draft, edit, and issue formal press releases to regional media distribution lists; assist the agency Manager with media inquiries and press packet compilation.– In alignment with the agency's equity and accessibility goals, the consultant will ensure that key public–facing materials—including monthly e–newsletter highlights, flyers, social media announcements, survey instruments, and emergency alerts—are accurately translated into Spanish.
