FIRE-1682 - USA (Orange, California) - Backflow Prevention Devices and Fire Hydrant Services - Budget - Up to 135,000 USD - Deadline July 15,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide backflow prevention devices and fire hydrant services to the government authority located in Orange, CA. – Work defines the requirements for inspection, testing, servicing, and repair of all agency–owned backflow prevention devices and private fire hydrants. • Backflow prevention device testing and repair:– All backflow prevention devices shall be tested annually.– Repair and rebuild.• Fire hydrant inspection and maintenance:– All private fire hydrants shall be inspected annually, or immediately following any relocation or repair, to ensure readiness for emergency use.• Annual inspections shall include checking the following:– Caps present, undamaged, and rotating smoothly– Fire hose connection threads in good condition– Cap chains and gaskets in place and serviceable– Operating valve stem for smooth operation– No visible obstruction (minimum 3 ft. clearance)– Gate valve accessible and operable– Hydrant body painted safety red(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 26, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for three years. (4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on June 16, 2026.
