DEMOLITION OF 364 THORINGTON ROAD

The work consists of the comprehensive demolition and removal of all existing residential structures and associated site improvements within the project limits at 364 Thorington Road, including buildings, foundations, footings, slabs, conjoining sidewalks, mechanical and electrical equipment, designated utilities, and other improvements indicated for removal. The Contractor shall disconnect, terminate, cap, abandon, or remove existing utilities as indicated; remove designated trees, stumps, brush, shrubs, hedges, and other vegetation necessary to complete the demolition and final grading; legally remove and dispose of all demolition debris and hazardous materials; and backfill and compact all excavations and voids resulting from demolition. Upon completion, all disturbed areas shall be graded to provide positive drainage and a smooth, stable surface suitable for commercial mowing and shall be seeded for erosion control. The existing perimeter concrete fence/wall, existing paved roads, and existing curbs shall remain and shall be protected from damage throughout all demolition and site restoration activities .
