(1) Vendor needs to provide solid waste collection services to the government authority located in Brunswick, GA.• Include curbside collection of residential garbage, white good pick up, bulk good pick up, yard trash pickup, recyclables, provision of two drop off centers, and special projects.• Recycling is a customer option under the current contract and is provided on a bi–weekly basis the same day household garbage is collected.• County has curbside collection service for refuse and recycling, as well as back door services for handicapped individuals.• Current recycling pickup is single stream.• County currently provides its own bulk and white goods collection.• Both garbage and recycle collection containers are and will remain the property of the Contractor.• County currently pays the Contractor on a monthly basis for the residential garbage collection and recycling.• Sponsor community cleanup or recycling projects, including litter pickups, telephone books, Christmas tree recycling, and spring and fall clean–up campaigns, of which the Contractor participates.
