(1) Vendor needs to provide classification and compensation study services to the government authority located in Greenville, SC.– Evaluate and update the job classification and compensation system, taking into account changes in federal and state laws.– Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys relevant to our industry and region.– Maintain a competitive position with other comparable government entities and private employers within the relevant job markets.– Review and update our job evaluation system.– Project planning and administration:– Develop a detailed project work plan and schedule that identifies key milestones, engagement activities, deliverable review cycles, and administrative processes, including decision points requiring city leadership direction.– Classification plan review and job evaluation methodology:– Review the existing classification plan and recommend any changes needed to support internalequity, consistency and long–term maintainability using a documented, transparent and legallydefensible job evaluation methodology.– Market benchmarking and pay policies survey:– Competitive market position using compensation and benefits data from comparable local governments, other relevant organizations, and credible sources.– Compensation structure and administration review:– current compensation structure and pay administration practices to develop recommendations or policy changes that support fair, competitive and sustainable compensation.– Implementation plan:– Develop an implementation plan and financial impact analysis for up to three implementationsscenarios based on recommendations from the tasks above.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 3, 2026.
