(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance consultant services to the government authority located in Blacksburg, VA.• The Agency is seeking a qualified insurance consultant to assist with securing and evaluating insurance bids for property, casualty, and volunteer insurance.• The consultant shall provide assistance by reviewing specifications, recommendinginsurance coverages, limits and deductible amounts, providing bid analysis and recommending acceptable offers.• Services:– Analyze the Town’s current property, casualty, and volunteer insurance program.– Develop, if necessary, alternative insurance program structures.– Perform the tabulation and verification of bids received for all (property, casualty, and volunteer) insurance programs.– In conjunction with the Finance Director, make recommendations for the Town to consider.– Provide ongoing assistance in related risk management area.– Review and make recommendations on renewals of insurance policies.– Review all audits, endorsements and invoices for accuracy.– Review and make recommendations annually concerning adequacy for Town’s insurance coverage.– Assist with the development of employee communications in an effort to reduce workers’ compensation and other losses.– Provide an annual budget estimate for all insurance coverages for the Town.– Recommend specific techniques and procedures to assist the Town in identifying current and anticipated new exposures to loss.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 17, 2026
