Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention and Tobacco Prevention Program Community Education

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks contractors to conduct substance use prevention, tobacco prevention, and program evaluation services; as outlined in more detail in the Scope of Work. Tobacco prevention program funding is available for work to be conducted throughout San Mateo County. Alcohol and other drug prevention efforts may be conducted throughout San Mateo County or in specific communities as appropriate. Evaluation services will be for both the Tobacco Prevention Program and the AOD Prevention Program. Services are anticipated to begin in fiscal year 2026-27. The County anticipates awarding an agreement to one or more Contractors for a one (1) year term, with the option of additional years if determined to be in the best interest of the County. The Proposer(s) will provide the services in accordance with RFP Section 2, Scope of Work. Proposer(s) must confirm the services listed below they intend to provide in their proposal submittal. Proposer(s) may provide one or more of the following services. A. Tobacco Prevention Program (TPP) (RFP Section 2.1 - 2.3) B. Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention Program (AOD) (RFP Section 2.4) C. Evaluation Services of TPP and AOD Programs (RFP Section 2.5)
