Request for Proposals (RFP) for Updating the City of San Rafael's ADA self-evaluation and Transition Plan

The City of San Rafael’s (City) Department of Public Works (DPW) in conjunction with the Community and Economic Development (CED) Department is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify one or more qualified consultants to update the City’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan (Plan). The City anticipates updating the Plan in phases and is seeking proposals that identify strategies for implementing a phased approach. The Plan update shall prioritize evaluation of the public rights of way and ensure City compliance with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) ADA/Section 504 program requirements as soon as possible. Subsequent phase(s) of the Plan shall revisit City facilities and services and other Plan elements as necessary to ensure compliance with the ADA.
