Vendor needs to provide high priority transmission corridor study service to the government authority located in Olympia, WA. • Analysis and report development:– Develop a transmission capacity study for agency.– The study will evaluate the need for expanded transmission capacity in agency, to improve the flow of electricity on the transmission system, and to improve grid reliability.– Review, compile and summarize existing transmission plans from electric utilities, transmission providers, and independent power producers in the region.– Conduct a prioritization process to generate a recommended shortlist of the highest priority transmission corridors.– To the extent possible, analyze costs and benefits of transmission development to Washington ratepayers. • Project coordination and community engagement:– Prepare agendas, materials, and presentations for recurring coordination meetings.– Design and implement, an open and transparent engagement process that enables tribes and interested parties, including utilities, developers, and community members, to participate meaningfully in the development of the analysis.
