(1) Vendor needs to provide historic preservation master plan update services to the government authority located in Prescott, AZ.– Analysis of the historic preservation master plan:– Provides an overview of the district, its history and formation, layout, and distinct architectural elements.– Consultant will be tasked with ensuring dates and addresses are accurate, checking references are reflective of the current year, and conduct a thorough examination of grammar and tone.– New chapter content:– consultant will be tasked with drafting these six district chapters, establishing design review standards, and ensuring dates and addresses are accurate.– Review and update the staff drafted new chapter content and integrate with the overall plan, focusing on structural sections, layout, and consistency.– Refreshing all maps, photos, inventory:– Maps, photos, and inventory sheets all play a major role in the narrative of historic preservation.– Public outreach and engagement:– Historic preservation is integrated into the fabric of the community; therefore, public outreach, engagement, and involvement is a critical component.– Public hearing presentations and final adoption:– Engagement and presentations to the preservation commission over multiple meetings to which the selected consultant shall execute an adoption–ready historic preservation master plan.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 4, 2026.
