EXTRA-70972 - USA (New Britain, Connecticut) - Retain a Rate Case Consultant Service - Deadline July 1,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide retain a rate case consultant service to the government authority located in New Britain, CT.– Consultant will provide the services to examine rate design issues including:– Class cost of service study.– Forecast revenue and customer statistics.– Forecast revenue and customer statistics.– Bill impacts.– Time–varying Rates, as applicable.– Low–income Discount Rate, as applicable.– Review the rates and tariffs proposed by the applicants and analyze the acceptability and reasonableness of the revenue recovery mechanisms contained in application.– Examine the applicant's cost of service study to determine whether it is an appropriate basis for calculating the revenue responsibility of each class.– Evaluate the distribution of the proposed revenue increase and proposed rate design across the various rate divisions.– Develop and propose rates to generate the recommended revenue requirement and prepare typical bills under those proposed rates.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 17, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on June 15, 2026.
