(1) Vendor needs to provide jail food system to the government authority located in Brownsville, TX.– Providing institutional and volume food service and must have five years previous correctional feeding experience with proven effectiveness in administering large scale corrections food service programs.– For special diets, the vendor shall serve meal frequencies of three times a day, seven days a week, fifty–two weeks a year.– All food handling, including storage, removal to prep areas, all prep, cooking, bulk transfer to tray lines.– Purchase and safely manage all consumable supplies and food products that are requiredfor food service operation.(2) Pre–bid meeting will be held on August 19, 2026(3) The contract period will be for one year. (4) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 21,2026.
