(1) Vendor needs to provide subject matter expert presenter services to the government authority located in Annapolis, MD.– Seeking to engage a qualified individual to deliver a 90–minute presentation to commissioners on the root causes of health disparities and health equity in underserved communities.– Presentation will address, at minimum:• The root causes of health disparities and social drivers of health inequities in underserved communities in Maryland.• Patterns and drivers of health disparities including differences in access, outcomes, and mortality across the state.• A framework or set of strategies the commission can apply to advance health equity through its grantmaking priorities.• Facilitated time for commissioner questions and discussion, incorporated within the 90–minute session.– Contractor’s presentation is intended to inform the retreat’s session on the landscape of need across the state including mortality rates, access, outcomes, and other key statistics so that commissioners can utilize a common understanding of health disparities and social drivers of health outcomes in the future work
