Courier Services

The intent of this Request for Quote is to obtain daily courier services as noted in the separate attachment, Courier Service Schedule, as well as standard and urgent courier service requests on an as-needed basis. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to handle the items requiring courier service. All-inclusive daily rate shall include the total labor cost including, but not limited to, the hourly employee pay rate, insurance, Contractor’s overhead, profit, employee-related taxes, and all costs associated with the employee travel including cost of vehicle, mileage, fuel charges and any other surcharges. SERVICE ITEMS Courier service items may include, but shall not be limited to, various types of mail and interoffice envelopes as well as locked cash deposit bags. Refer to the Courier Service Schedule (a separate attachment to this solicitation). The driver will provide a signature form to verify pickup and delivery to Utility Billing and Customer Service for our records at each pick up. In addition, empty bags will be picked up daily from the Mercantile location and delivered to original location on next business day.
