(1) Vendor needs to provide lobbyist services regarding state and federal issues that affect K–12 education to the government authority located in Mesa, AZ.• Attend meetings where legislation and proposed rules affecting K–12 education are discussed and provide status reports as necessary.• Identify and inform the District of the major issues that may potentially affect the District.• Coordinate efforts with representatives of other K–12 education agencies and organizations.• Monitor, track, and advocate for or against specific legislative proposals.• Review state executive proposals, legislation, proposed and adopted administrative rules and regulations, state budget information, and other materials of interest to the District.• Provide to the District, as requested, information regarding bills, budget documents, committee reports, rules and reports or other information pertinent to the issues identified on the District’s priority list.• Agree not to represent other clients who have a direct conflict with the District on legislative proposals. Exceptions may be negotiated on a case–by–case basis. A notification procedure will also be negotiated as part of any agreement.(2) A non–mandatory public bid opening will be held on August 27, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than August 19, 2026.
