(1) Vendor needs to provide GIS–based tree inventory services to the government authority located in Boca Raton, FL. – Perform a comprehensive, GIS–based inventory of approximately 9,000 agency–maintained trees within public rights–of–way and select critical municipal facilities. • Project initiation and coordination:– Develop and submit a detailed work plan, including schedule, staffing, data collection methodology, and QA/QC procedures.• Public outreach support:– Assist the agency in notifying residents of upcoming field activities.– Coordinate fieldwork to minimize disruption to residents and traffic.• Tree inventory field data collection: Perform a complete inventory of approximately 9,000 trees located within agency. – Species (scientific and common name)– Diameter at Breast Height (DBH)– Tree height– Canopy Spread East/West Direction– Canopy Spread North/ South Direction– Condition rating (i.e., Dead, Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent)• Data management and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Perform QA/QC on all collected data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.• GIS integration: Assist with or support integration into the agency’s existing tree management system– Deliver all data in a format compatible with the agency’s GIS system• Tree inventory analysis and reporting: Analyze the collected data and provide:– A comprehensive final report– Recommendations for: Tree maintenance and risk mitigation, species selection and diversification, etc.– Maps and visualizations suitable for planning and public communication.• Provide a complete georeferenced tree inventory database.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 5, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
