Vendor needs to provide fixed route transit system evaluation and service planning study services to the government authority located in Watertown, NY.• The purpose of this project is to assess the feasibility, reliability, and long–term sustainability of existing transit routes and to provide data–driven recommendations for service improvements.• The selected consultant shall be responsible for complete services in relation to the fixed route transit system evaluation and service planning study.• This study will examine current service patterns in relation to present–day land use, population, employment centers, medical facilities, and other key trip generators.• The consultant shall collect, review, and summarize available data necessary to evaluate current transit service, including but not limited to:• Current route maps, schedules, and service span.• Ridership data and passenger counts.• On–time performance and reliability.• Operating costs, service hours, and productivity metrics.• Demographic and socioeconomic data relevant to transit demand.• The consultant shall evaluate the current fixed–route system using standard transit performance measures. The evaluation shall include, but not be limited to:• Route performance and productivity.• Coverage versus ridership tradeoffs.• Reliability and schedule adherence.• Transfer efficiency and rider experience.
