Perdido Estates Stormwater Improvements

Escambia County / Purchasing

Description

Perdido Estates Subdivision is located within Escambia County and consists of a stormwater network and two ponds discharging to the wetlands on the north side of the subdivision. The existing ponds are not functioning as intended based on the design plans dated August 2003. The purpose of this project is to improve conveyance and reduce the flooding within the neighborhood. The proposed design includes a replacement and upgrade of the existing stormwater conveyance system to reduce existing flooding in this area. These proposed improvements to the stormwater system include de-silting and restoration of the existing pond bottoms, upsizing existing storm-drain, and the addition of inlets and storm-drain.
