The Government of Liberia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Emergency Solar Power Intervention Project (RESPITE) , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for MHCPP Camp Rehabilitation Procurement Package (2): Supply (Electrical Appliances, Furniture, Kitchen Utensils, Gym Equipment, and Related Items) . “ For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.” 2. The Liberia Electricity Corporation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the following lots under the contract, in a period of 3 months , at the Mount Coffee Hydropower Plant, Harrisburg Township, about 25km from Monrovia . Lot Description Lot 1 Supply and Installation of Electrical Appliances, as further defined in this Request for Bids. Lot 2 Supply and installation of Furniture, Kitchen Utensils, Mattresses, Bed linen, Gym Equipment, as further defined in this Request for Bids 3. Bidders may Bid for one or both lots, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded both lots will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.” 4. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Seventh Edition - September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Liberia Electricity Corporation and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 am to 05:00 pm GMT at the address given below. 6. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$ 100.00.
