(1) Vendor needs to provide medical insurance broker services to the government authority located in Akron, OH. • Marketing services and strategy:– Prepare annual marketing strategy reports identifying anticipated market conditions and proposing a marketing strategy for the agency’s major loss exposure areas prior to policy renewal.– Assist in developing underwriting data and specifications for renewal negotiations.• Policy holder services:– Provide prompt and accurate service for day–to–day concerns and questions, on insurance and risk management matters.– Prepare an annual report including a schedule of policies in force, coverage provisions, premiums, insurance claims experience for the prior policy year and recommendations for possible adjustments to insurance coverage for the next policy year. Identify any coverage gaps with corresponding recommendations.• Analyze the agency’s exposure to loss, adequacy of coverage, and develop options on coverage not presently purchased by the agency. • Provide other services that are normally and customarily required by a municipal insurance broker.• Help provide training and/or identify qualified personnel to conduct training sessions when needed.• Provide quarterly reports in health insurance utilization and expenditures• Provide a dedicated account manager who will serve as the primary contact for agency and its employees.• The broker must maintain prompt and responsive communication, ensuring that inquiries are addressed within 24 hours.• Prepare an annual strategic plan outlining goals, action steps, and anticipated benefits for the upcoming year. • Assist in addressing any grievances or issues that arise concerning health insurance coverage and benefits.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 23, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
