(1) Vendor needs to provide bio–hazardous medical waste disposal services to the government authority located in Hanover, VA.– Removal, Storage, and Disposal– Animal Control: syringes, empty vaccine bottles, needles, etc.– Fire and EMS: waste from drawing blood, cultures, used gloves, etc.– Regional Jail: waste from drawing blood, cultures, needles, sharps, blood and body fluid soiled gauze bandages, linen, scalpels, razors and vacutainers, etc.– Community Services Board: waste from drawing blood, needles, glass medication vials, used gloves and sharps containers.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
