– Vendor needs to provide promotional assessment center services. – Provide develop, administer, score, and support promotional assessment centers for the police department.– Providing a consistent, secure, objective, job–related, valid, reliable, and professionally defensible assessment center process that complements the city’s police promotional examination process and provides qualified candidates a fair opportunity to demonstrate their readiness for promotion.– Promotional system utilizes an assessment center component in addition to a written promotional examination and, where applicable, a performance review.– Assessment center is to enhance the promotional selection process by providing eligible candidates a fair and structured opportunity to demonstrate the job–related knowledge, skills, abilities, competencies, and behaviors that serve as indicators of successful performance in the promotional classification.
