Full Body Scanner

The Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) is seeking information (“Response”) from vendors who can supply a Full Body Scanner equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to detect harmful contraband (not for medical imaging) for OCSD’s Detention Facility. OCSD is looking to gather information on equipment options available in the marketplace to assist with scanning detainees entering the jail(s). The purpose of the body scanner is to scan detainees and detect weapons, drugs, or other contraband that would impact the health and safety of the detainee, other detainees, and the staff. Vendors are encouraged to provide detailed information on their AI-enabled body scanners, including capabilities, specifications, and implementation requirements.
