Vendor needs to provide advance manufacturing applied research and technology development services to the government authority located in Orlando, FL.– Serve as a central hub for advanced manufacturing research, development, and engineering to unify, de–conflict, and integrate ongoing efforts and align them with strategic objectives such as contested logistics, distributed manufacturing, and industrial base flexibility.– Develop the foundational tools, common standards, and rapid qualification pathways that will enable to function as an agile and responsive network.– Scale up key systems–of–systems technologies like robotic automation for munitions and new AI–driven manufacturing methods from laboratory concepts to field–ready production lines.– Research and development of processes that support large scales, large volumes, adaptive and additive techniques for both air and ground domain system applications.– Research and development of through–thickness composite research to increase understanding of the properties and behaviors of layered materials.– Development and optimization of process parameters.– Research and development of computer–aided drafting tools and standards.– Research and development in both conventional (subtractive) and next–generation (additive) manufacturing techniques as well as hybrid manufacturing which combines both techniques.
