(1) Vendor needs to provide media monitoring and analysis services. – Sources of media monitoring and analysis:– Print media • National, regional and local newspapers should be monitored • Main focus should be on online reports, marketing exposure on websites of especially South African based media, organisations, companies and individual blogs • The main social media platforms to be monitored are X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok in accordance with key world/topics provided – Reports • Provide a monthly quantitative analysis of actual coverage (per centimetre column or per second / minute etc.), as well as the equivalent advertising value of such coverage in all media – User access • Provide for user access to a password protected online portal of the media monitoring account with catalogued archived media report • Provide for an Account Manager who is accessible during office hours and for scheduled meetings when required • Provide for a press distribution tool, media contact database • Provide training to users with continuous telephonic support and assistance (2) The contract period will be for two years.
