RFP #215333 - Architectural Services for Level II & III Phase II Exterior Facade CCC and CR Buildings

Laramie County Community College (LCCC) is undertaking a long-term Exterior Façade Renewal Initiative as part of its campus master plan to preserve, modernize, and improve the efficiency of existing facilities. Many of LCCC's original buildings are constructed of precast concrete systems that have experienced moisture intrusion and age-related deterioration. Through this initiative, LCCC is implementing exterior façade improvements that address maintenance concerns, enhance energy efficiency, improve building entrances and wayfinding, and modernize the appearance of campus facilities. The program encompasses thirteen existing buildings on the Cheyenne campus and is being executed in four phases. This solicitation pertains to Phase 2, specifically the College Community Center and Crossroads Building. Laramie County Community College seeks proposals from qualified firms for the following scope of work: Providing professional architectural services for Level II & III design services to include, but not limited to, the following: Develop and design an energy efficient building envelope system and aesthetically pleasing exterior façade renewal for the College Community Center Building and the Crossroads Building. The exterior renewal of these buildings must use the same exterior building systems concepts for increased energy efficiency, improved insulation and proper moisture transference used in the exterior renewal of Phase 1 buildings. The design must follow key elements outlined in the current Campus Master Plan, which includes the design of building “neighborhood features.” A “neighborhood feature” will be required on both buildings to bring visual distinction to each building.
