(1) Vendor needs to provide small business center counselling services to the government authority located in Sylva, NC.• The small business center offers individual client business counselling.• This service is offered free of charge and is confidential.• Counselling can be conducted via phone, email, virtual, or in–person. • Guest counsellors shall maintain high professional standards of conduct, avoid conflicts of interest, and use good judgment in counselling clients.• Guest counsellors shall not accept a client where the counsellor has an opportunity for personal, familial, or financial gain.• One–on–one counselling sessions assist prospective and existing small business owners in every stage of their business life cycle.• All client information that they share, and the discussions they have with the business advisor, will be held in strict confidence.• Counselling topics may include the same areas of expertise as the training topics.• The impact area definitions are as follows: jobs created, jobs sustained, debt financing, owner financing, equity financing, number of counselling hours, number of clients served.• Initial counselling sessions should screen for referral to other appropriate persons or agencies and follow–up counselling or training.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 29, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
