Procurement of Small work for the Conservation, Preservation, Restoration, and Development work at Jamrud Fort District, Khyber — Khyber Pass Economic Corridor Project

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has received Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khyber Pass Economic Corridor Project (KPEC) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of small work for the Conservation, Preservation, Restoration, and Development work at Jamrud Fort District, Khyber, under the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) through this Request for Bid (RFB). The Project Management Unit (PMU)–KPEC invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders/Contractors/Firms for Procurement of Small work for the Conservation, Preservation, Restoration, and Development work at Jamrud Fort District, Khyber, under the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) for the (1) Conservation, Preservation, Restoration, and Development Work, at Jamrud Fort (2) Establishment of Sikh Gallery, Information Desk, Public Washrooms, Sewerage System & Making of Lawns, Green Belts, Plantation of Trees & Equipment at Jamrud Fort (3) Development of Water Supply & Drainage System at Jamrud Fort (4) Supply and Installation of Aluminum Showcases for Display of Artifacts at Jamrud Fort (5) Archaeological Excavation Work at Jamrud Fort. The bidders may submit bids for one or more lots, and the evaluation and contract awards will be carried out on a lotwise basis accordingly. The Procurement will be carried out under the Request for Bid (RFB) method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations (Procurement in Investment Project Financing, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services. July 2016 (Revised November 2017, August 2018, November 2020 and September 2025) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. A pre-bid meeting will be held on July 14, 2026 at 1130 hours in office of Senior Archaeological Engineer, Directorate General of Archaeology and Museum (DGoAM), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar Museum, Engineering Wing, Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar. The bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon submission of a written application to Senior Archaeological Engineer, Directorate General of Archaeology and Museum (DGoAM), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar Museum, Engineering Wing, Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar upon cash payment of PKR.5,000 /- (non- refundable) during office hours. Bids must be delivered to the office address given below by or before 1400 hours on July 23, 2026. Electronic bids will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security of PKR 500,000 /- for each lot separately in the form of an irrevocable unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan, or a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR). The interested Bidders/Contractors/firms are requested to quote their best and final prices, including all admissible taxes, as no negotiations will be allowed at a later stage.
