ROOF REPLACEMENT AT FIRE STATION #3

The work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 7,100 square feet of existing ballasted built-up roofing with a new EPDM membrane roofing system. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and off-site disposal of existing roofing materials, including insulation, cant strips, tapered edge components, and metal flashings. The project also includes the removal and replacement of the existing roof hatch and associated roof accessories; removal and replacement of deteriorated roof decking and wood blocking as required; and removal and replacement of existing roof drains, including all associated piping and insulation. The contractor shall furnish and install a complete roofing system, including underlayment, flat and tapered insulation, blocking and EPDM membrane. Work shall also include the installation of new flashings, coping, fascia, and all related sheet metal trim, as specified and detailed, including new scuppers. All work shall be performed in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
