(1) Vendor needs to provide geotechnical engineering, construction testing and inspection services to the government authority located in Newport News, VA.– Soil testing.– Soil Classification and moisture density relationship.– Observe backfill placement and field density testing to evaluate compaction.– Concrete testing, including: slump, air, temperature, and cast cylinders.– Inspect welding for pipelines, tanks, and structural frames to include visual inspections by certified welding inspectors supplemented with ultrasonic and radiographic examinations.– Asbestos and lead–based paint.– Prepare feasibility studies for proposed projects.– Fire proofing tests.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 19,2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
