(1) Vendor needs to provide external independent third–party review services to the government authority located in Frankfort, KY.– Perform accurate and timely external independent third–party reviews.– Make medical necessity determinations by a clinician or clinicians who have clinical expertise regarding the subject matter of the case, and are currently licensed, preferably regarding the subject matter.– Develop a formal process for identifying appropriately qualified clinicians to review and respond to specific medical issues and make medical necessity determinations.– Develop timelines for the review of medical necessity determinations.– Transmit and receive all data via encryption or secure file transport protocol (FTP) site.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 17,2026.(3) The contract period will be for two years.
