(1) Vendor needs to provide acute hospital service to the government authority located in Boston, MA.– Standards for behavioural health crisis evaluations– Acute hospitals in performing comprehensive behavioural health crisis evaluations for individuals presenting either in the emergency department or medical and surgical floors in a behavioural health crisis. – These behavioural health crisis evaluations include the initial comprehensive assessments of risk, diagnosis, and treatment needs, the initial crisis interventions, the initial determination and coordination of appropriate disposition, and the required reporting and community collaboration for members presenting in a behavioural health crisis. – Billing requirements for behavioural health crisis evaluations apply to individuals experiencing a behavioural health crisis, either in the ed or while admitted to a medical/surgical bed
