FIRE-1934 - USA (Somerville, Massachusetts) - Inspection, Repairs and Maintenance Fire Detection Systems - Deadline October 14,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide inspection, repairs and maintenance fire detection systems to the government authority located in Somerville, MA.• The Contractor will provide 24 hours’ advance notice of testing to the Somerville Fire Department, 911 Dispatch, and the City’s security monitoring contractor.– Inspections will include a complete functional test of each control panel and fire alarm system:a. Test and inspect all fire alarm panels. Leave panel(s) clear of trouble indications.b. Test and inspect standby and backup power supplies.c. Test each zone.d. Test and inspect all system components and devices.• Devices, Parts & Materials1. The Contractor will maintain an adequate inventory of devices, parts and materials to replace, repair and/or maintain each system at the time dispatched. – The Contractor must be prepared to provide an immediate replacement for defective equipment and will not leave a site without a functioning Fire Detection System.2. All parts and materials used will be exact duplicates of the existing part unless otherwise specifiedby the City(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 8, 2026.
