(1) Vendor needs to provide background investigative services to the government authority located in Fullerton, CA.1. Firefighter investigation:– Review of the completed personal history statement, a personal interview with the applicant, and follow–up on any omissions and discrepancies.– Interviews of personal and professional references and of secondary references developed during the investigation.– Criminal and civil court records in each county of residence and employment in the preceding ten years.– Verification of licenses and certifications, including EMT certification and any paramedic license.– Social media and internet search.2. Limited screening:– Social security number trace and address history.– County criminal court records for the current county of residence and the most recent prior county of residence within the preceding seven years.– National criminal database search, with court verification of any match.3. Police officer investigation:– Conduct a comprehensive peace officer background investigation in accordance with post commission regulation 1953. Use the post personal history statement (form 2–251). Deliver a signed narrative report and a supporting file organized by the post peace officer file tabs.4. Public safety dispatcher investigation:– Conduct a complete public safety dispatcher background investigation in accordance with post commission regulation 1959. Use the dispatcher personal history statement (form 2–255). Deliver a signed narrative report and a supporting file organized by the post dispatcher file tabs.5. Polygraph examination:– Provide pre–employment polygraph examinations on request. Each examination includes a pre–test interview, the examination, a post–test interview, and a signed report of the questions asked, the results, and the applicant's explanations.(2) All question must be submitted no later than November 05, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
