(1) Vendor needs to provide online food handler training and assessment service to the government authority located in San Bernardino, CA. – Provide an interactive web–based online training course and assessment for food handler certification of residents and to provide an assessment for food safety manager certification.– The course and assessment shall be designed to be completed within approximately two and one–half hours, of which approximately two hours should be dedicated to the training element.– The course and assessment shall be written at no more than a 6th grade reading level.– Training, assessment, and login pages shall be available in English, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and American Sign, with the option to add more languages as necessary.– Training and assessment shall be available to customers 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.– The assessment shall consist of at least 40 questions regarding the training topics.– Customers shall have the ability to review practice questions after content sections to check for mastery of content prior to taking assessment.– Send an e–mail reminder to every customer who has provided an e–mail address at 45 and 30 days prior to the expiration date of the food handler certificate, and send a copy of the e–mail to the current employer.– Develop and make available an electronic platform that enables agency and food facility operators to identify, update and verify food handler certificate status and applicable food facility via smartphone, tablet or computer.– Provide technical support for customers and the agency which shall be available via telephone, email or on–line request between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday and provide live technical support to customers after hours.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 6, 2026.
