RFQ 715024: MD1745 Stormwater Pond Retrofit

The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor to perform the Work to retrofit and convert Stormwater Facility MD1745 from a Level I Wet Pond to Wetlands within the property identified as County PIN# 045-17-3780 off of Executive Drive in Sterling (the Project). The Work includes removal, hauling, and disposal of accumulated sediment, vegetation and earthwork; installation of one (1) sediment forebay, one (1) plunge pool and one (1) deep plunge pool at the existing inflows; construction of three (3) wetland cells with intercell berms and one (1) flow channel through the wetland cells; and installation of landscape plantings. The Project will require the removal of approximately 4,200 cubic yards of cut material.The Project limits span across one (1) parcel, owned by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. Access to the property will be through the existing access easement located on the adjacent property with an address of 22650-22660 Executive Drive, Sterling, Virginia 20166.
