Testing and Analysis of Overhead Catenary System Hardware

Testing and analysis services are needed for laboratory inspection, testing and failure analysis of VTA's Overhead Catenary System components or samples such as clamps, insulators, wires, brackets, and other hardware that support the overhead contact and messenger wires. The purpose of the inspection and testing is to determine root cause of a component failure, identify any evidence of degradation, signs of brittle fracture failures, environmental degradation, identify material defects for ultimate safety and reliability of the component.
