Description
General work description: The Boarding Area G Gate Enhancements Project will program, design, construct, activate, and commission new passenger boarding bridges (PBB) at each gate of the International Terminal Boarding Area G. These gates accommodate narrow and wide body aircraft. The Project will remove and dispose of the existing PBBs that have reached the end of their design lives. The Project scope will also include Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (A-VDGS) for each gate, as well as repair and improve concrete pavements and fire hydrant system infrastructure. The Project includes Air Operations Area (AOA) construction, civil engineering, utility infrastructure, foundations, superstructure, special systems, mechanical, plumbing, and telecommunication systems. Minimizing impacts to active operations is a priority and the Project shall close no more than one gate at any time.
