BIOHAZARD CLEANING SERVICES

The Town of Manchester is soliciting bids and intends to secure a single contractor to perform biohazard cleaning and decontamination services for the Manchester Police Department. Contractor must be trained and experienced in the removal and disposal of bodily fluids and tissue, medical waste and other potentially pathogenic substances. Work will consist of pickup, removal and disposal of human and medical waste including blood borne pathogens, and cleaning and decontamination of areas where such waste was present. Areas to be cleaned and decontaminated include prison cells, police vehicles, holding areas, and any other locations where human or medical waste may be present. Contractor must have staff available to service the Town twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Contractor will be required to respond within four (4) hours after notification from the Manchester Police Department.
