DRA-11839 - USA (Norfolk, Virginia) - Underwater Hull Survey, Inspection, Cleaning, Maintenance, and Repair Services - Deadline November 5,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide underwater hull survey, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair services to the government authority located in Norfolk, Virginia.• Comprehensive box blank surveillance program to include a once annual full inspection of all existing sea chest blank attachment areas and stern tubes for corrosion and water intrusion. Box blanks shall be cleaned as part of ultrasonic testing and inspection.• Underwater repairs, to include welding and painting around sea chest plates using Hycote–type underwater paint and general flat–hull paint system repairs, also using Hycote–type underwater paint. • Underwater hull survey, to include hull thickness gauging, coating thickness measurement, cathodic potential measurement, and video inspection.• Survey shall include accurate and repeatable records of the structural material condition, coating condition, corrosion protection systems effectiveness, visual inspection, and measurement of discovered damage.• All data collected shall be accessible both graphically and in tabular form.
