Grant Writing and Research Services

Pasadena Water and Power ("PWP"), a department of the City of Pasadena ("City") is seeking the services of a qualified firm to provide grant writing and grant identification/research services. The City of Pasadena’s Water and Power Department (“PWP”) is conducting a search for an experienced technical/financial consulting firm/s (“Contractor/s” or “Consultant/s”) to perform grant writing and grant identification/research services. Pasadena has ambitious goals to become 100% Clean Energy by 2030, 15 years ahead of State-mandated goals, and is considering options for clean energy technology and rate structures to accommodate evolving trends towards “bi-directional” electrical grid usage by its customers, including customer-owned generation and storage devices . PWP is a leader in water conservation efforts and continues to maintain and improve its historic water infrastructure. The purpose of this project is to engage a consultant with a proven track record of identifying suitable grant opportunities for municipal utilities and successfully advancing PWP’s candidacy through persuasive and effective grant writing techniques. Proposals are requested from Contractors that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in the “Scope of Work” section contained within this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).
